It's common on DPR to mention the reseller, and other DPR members sometimes share their experiences, both good and maybe not so good. I see from your other post that you've had some issues with new bodies purchased that might have not been new. Try a Google search for 600D shutter counts. There are some websites and programs that may be able to do this. Reading the actual shutter count (by the user) is a bit tricky as it's frequently not readily available to a user, and depends on the model if a user can read it at all with 3rd party programs. As Mike indicated, resetting the stored shutter count would essentially be fraud, unless it was done by Canon service for good reason. The actual shutter count is stored in memory in the camera and users cannot reset it. You can reset this on the camera for the numbering of the photos as used in their file names. if we get a camera with 0 shutter count, so it is 100% new? Just wondering, can canon 600d shutter count be reset.
